Hogmanay Syllabub – An Authentic Scottish Dessert

Here there is a traditional Scottish dessert frequently offered on 31st December, or Hogmanay, as we Scots decide to consider it as being. 1/4 teaspoon salt

6 cups peeled thinly sliced tart apples

1 package (2-crust) cake pastry
